ZBT routers feature a Uboot web interface for recovery in case of firmware issues. If your router becomes non-functional due to a firmware DIY mistake, you can restore it to default settings using the Uboot Web UI. The steps for accessing the Web UI are generally similar across different models.
Common Procedure:
1. Connect a Single Cable: Connect only one cable to your router, leaving the other port (LAN or WAN) unconnected.
2. Press and Hold Reset: Firmly press and hold the Reset button, then power on your device. Ensure you press the button before powering on.
3. LED Indicators: The LEDs will start blinking. Refer to the videos below for specific models. Release the button when the LEDs flash 5 times for AR150 and 6416, or 3 times for MT300N and MT300A.
4. Set IP Address: Configure your computer’s IP address to 192.168.1.2.
5. Access Uboot Web UI: Use Firefox or Chrome to visit **http://192.168.1.1** to enter the Uboot Web UI.
6. Upload Firmware: Locate your firmware file and upload it.
7. Wait: Allow approximately 3 minutes for the upgrade process. Do not power off the device during this time.
