ZBT is aware of the security research report published by VulnCheck on August 5, 2026, regarding certain Zbtlink router models.

Regarding the rctl component:
The remote management component mentioned in the report serves solely as an after-sales technical support tool; it is intended to assist customers with device troubleshooting and configuration only upon their explicit request and authorization.
This component has never been used for unauthorized access.

Measures taken:

Sales of the affected models have been immediately suspended.
Downloads for the relevant firmware have been removed from the official website.

We are currently developing and releasing firmware updates to fully resolve the issue with the rctl component.
